2026 Swim Season

The NJ Seahawks 2026 season is coming up, with practices scheduled to begin in just 2 weeks!

HERES THE SCHEDULE:

Swim practices are twice a week, first one is Wednesday, Jan 21st and our last one is June 3rd.

They will be held Wednesday evenings 7:30 PM, at the Union YM-YMHA located at 501 Green Lane, in Union NJ. The pool is down the hall to last set of stairs on the right, and thru the locker rooms.

Sunday Mornings are at 8:30 AM, Pool #2 at Scotch Plains/Fanwood YMCA, 1340 Martine Ave, Scotch Plains. 

Swim Meets are:

The Bi-County Area swim meet, Sunday March 22nd at Perth Amboy YMCA.

The Eastern Sectional swim meet, Saturday April 25th at Perth Amboy YMCA

NJ State Summer Games, Friday thru Sunday, June 5th, 6th and 7th at the College of New Jersey. 

Remember, come to as many swim practices, as you can, but the swim meets are not optional. If you wish to compete you must attend the swim meets to advance to the next. If you have a schedule conflict you can make up a Bi-County or Sectional meet by going to another Bi-county or Sectional meet on another day. Please let me know as soon as possible if you have a schedule conflict and need more info about swim meet make up locations and dates.

Seahawk athletes must be 8 years or older and be able to swim one lap or tread water for 1 minute.
